You can get advice from Citizens Advice online, over the phone, or in person at a Local Office.
We recommend visiting www.citizensadvice.org.uk as a first port of call. This has a lot of useful information about many issues people come to us with. It’s a great place to start when you have a problem you’re not sure how to handle.

You can contact us by calling Devon Adviceline, 9.00am–4.00pm Monday–Friday:
If you phone us we’ll spend a few minutes asking you about your issue to work out the best way we can help you. Very often we can advise there and then over the phone, or you may be invited to come and see us in person, or pointed in the right direction if there is someone better placed to help. When you call us, we recommend that you have any relevant documents to hand, together with a pen and paper
Calls cost the same as 01 and 02 numbers and are included in any ‘free minutes’ you get from your phone provider. When the lines are closed you’ll be offered the chance to listen to recorded information or to leave a message so we can get back to you.
