Exeter & East Devon Area: Quids for Kids Benefits Caseworker

Job Opportunity: Quids for Kids Benefits Caseworker
Covering Exeter & East Devon area

Hours: 22.5 per week
Salary: £22,317 per annum pro rata, plus 3% employer’s pension contribution
Fixed term to 31 March 2022 but may continue beyond that date subject to funding
Location: Currently home based, but will be based at the Newton Abbot office when possible. Flexible working considered.
Reporting to: Local manager

We are looking for a benefits caseworker to provide advice and assistance, mainly with Disability Living Allowance and Personal Independence Payments, to families who have children with special needs. The work involves helping with claims, reconsiderations and appeals. Experience of representation at appeals is desirable but not essential as training and support will be provided. Fixed term contract until 31st March 2022 but may continue beyond that date. The project has been running successfully for 15 years.
